Description — Zuiderdam
The Zuiderdam 5* liner made its first cruise in 2002. It combines such technological innovations as a diesel-electric power plant for more economical fuel consumption, as well as the latest Azipod system, which makes the ship more manoeuvrable.
The Zuiderdam liner was the first ship in the world cruise fleet that was able to offer wireless Internet access in every cabin.
In the middle of the liner there is a three-deck Atrium, at the center of which, suspended from the ceiling, is a crystal sea-horse. On board you will find an enormous amount of various antiques, works of art and different decorations, such as a portrait of Queen Beatrix by the iconic artist Andy Warhol, Frank Lloyd Wright medallions, a huge floral painting by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and much more. The lift doors are designed in the style of the interiors of the Chrysler Building in New York.
On board the liner you will find everything you need for a comfortable sea voyage: numerous bars, cafes and fine dining restaurants, a theatre featuring professional performers and musicians, a SPA salon and even the The Culinary Arts Center, where you can take part in culinary shows and tastings of dishes and wine.

The cruise line recommends having three types of clothing during your trip:
casual everyday wear for rest and sports activities,
clothing and footwear for excursions depending on the season and route features (sport and casual)
elegant attire for evening visits to restaurants and evening events: shows, casinos, clubs, bars (smart casual "more strict" and formal "strict").
During formal evenings, the following are welcome: cocktail dresses for women, and suits with a tie or tuxedos for men (the latter can be rented on board for an additional fee).
During evening events, the cruise line does not recommend staying in beachwear: shorts, flip-flops, and sneakers.
