Description — Volendam
The cruise ship Volendam 5* was named after a fishing village located not far from Amsterdam. The main highlight of the Volendam 5* ship is the huge crystal sculpture Caleido, located in the center of the three-story atrium.
On the Volendam 5* ship, the theme of flowers is everywhere, featured in wonderful floral installations in all public areas and cabins. An countless number of bouquets made of various flowers adorn this ship. On the Volendam 5* you won’t have to get bored. There is a wide range of entertainment here: from theatrical performances and an art gallery to a casino and all kinds of bars!

For the duration of the trip, the cruise company recommends having three types of clothing:
casual everyday wear for rest and sports activities,
clothing and footwear for excursions depending on the season and the specifics of the itinerary (sport and casual)
elegant attire for evening visits to restaurants and evening events: shows, the casino, clubs, and bars (smart casual "more strict" and formal "strict").
During formal evenings, cocktail dresses for women and suits with a tie or tuxedos for men are welcome (the latter can be rented on board for an additional fee).
For evening events, the cruise company does not recommend wearing beachwear: shorts, flip-flops, and sneakers.
