Cancellation Policy - Carnival Cruise Line

When booking a cruise online, no penalties arise because the reservation is considered a request!

The booking is automatically cancelled if the order is not confirmed by payment on the part of the client.

If the cruise is paid, the cruise company Carnival Cruise Line applies the following terms when cancelling an order at the initiative of the tourist to cover the resulting actual costs depending on the remaining time before the start of the cruise:

In the event of cruise cancellation in cases where the Client has taken out an insurance policy «due to inability to travel», the Client must immediately notify the Company about the occurrence of the insured event. If the amount of reimbursement under the insurance policy does not cover the full cost of the actual costs arising as a result of the Client’s cancellation, the entire difference between the covered amount of the insurance policy and the actual costs arising as a result of the cancellation must be reimbursed by the Client to the Company.

In case of cancellation by the Client of tours for dates of the high-demand period (New Year, Catholic and Orthodox Christmas, May holidays and others designated by the Cruise Company) and for special promotions of the Cruise Company (promotions, sales, etc.), the cruise company Carnival Cruises. applies the following cancellation rules:

Making changes to the order.

Replacing the last name in the cruise tour. If the Client is unable to use the booked services and cancels the cruise order, they have the right to replace the Tourists’ last names in the cruise order with those of Tourists who agree to use the booked cruise instead. The Client is required to inform the Company in writing about the cancellation with the possibility of replacing last names no later than 30 (thirty) working days before the start of the cruise. The new Client must not have any difficulties with document processing (visas, air travel, accommodation in hotels, etc.).

The new Client pays all costs related to the replacement of the details when booking the cruise.

When replacing last names in the cruise order, the Client pays $90 per person as administrative costs. The new Client assumes full responsibility for full payment of the tour price and any missing funds under the contract for the cruise tour and signs a new contract with the Company.

If the replacement of last names occurs later than 30 (thirty) working days before the start of the tour, the Cruise Company cancels the booking using the corresponding cancellation rules and confirms the new booking under the new last names at the rate that will be in effect at the time of the new booking.

Age requirements of the cruise company Carnival Cruise Line

Minor children (under 21 years of age): for independent travel, all guests must be over 21 years old. The age of all guests will be checked during boarding. If the age requirements set by the cruise company are not met, guests will be denied boarding with the application of 100% penalty sanctions. Exceptions apply only for groups with accompanying persons, military personnel, and married couples (proof must be provided with the relevant documents). Guests under 13 years of age must be booked in the same cabin with their parents or guardians. Guests aged 13 to 17 may be booked in a separate cabin, which will be located no more than 3 cabins away from the cabin of their parents or guardians. Guests aged 18 and above may be booked in a separate cabin located in immediate proximity to the cabin of their parents or guardians (on the same deck).

Infants:
- infants under 6 months of age are not allowed on board, and for Transatlantic cruises, cruises to the   Hawaiian Islands, and cruises to South America, infants must be over 12 months old;
- all children (from 6 months to 18 years) must have their own personal passports for travel abroad.
