Celestyal Cruises (formerly known as Louis Cruises) is the only cruise operator based in Greece that has been operating in the Aegean Sea for about 30 years, and also offers a unique itinerary around Cuba. Celestyal Cruises calls at most Greek ports, significantly outshining other cruise companies in this regard, thereby introducing guests to the history, culture, breathtaking scenery, and the hospitality of Greece. The cruise company has been running a cruise to Cuba for about 3 years now, offering passengers an authentic Cuban cruise - the best way to see the island in 8 days.

At the moment, the cruise company owns 5 liners, 2 of which sail to Greek ports and one to Cuba. The other two liners are currently on charter with Thomson Cruises.

In 2015, the Ministry of Development of Greek Tourism awarded Celestyal Cruises a gold award for thematic events, a silver award for its contribution to the development of the national economy, and a bronze award for the presentation and promotion of local cuisine.  The Celestyal logo awakens the sea, the sun, and the wind. It reflects the company’s commitment to its Hellenic roots, as well as its support for the economy and the preservation of the environment at each destination.

Dress code - Celestyal Cruises

On board the liner, it is not permitted to walk around in shorts and swimwear in the restaurants; however, guests can also dine directly on the sun deck by the pool without observing the dress code.

In restaurants, casinos, lounges and nightclubs, as well as in public areas, a relaxed casual style is followed, elegant already after 18:00.

On each liner, a schedule of all special events is available - the gala dinner, the Captain’s Cocktail (both on cruise 7 nights) and the legendary Greek Night. For the gala dinner and the Captain’s Cocktail, formal dress is encouraged: a cocktail dress or something strictly styled for ladies, and a blazer with a tie for men. The Greek dinner implies national colors - white and blue, symbolizing the flag of Greece.
