Overview
Celestyal Cruises (formerly known as Louis Cruises) is the only cruise operator based in Greece and, for about 30 years, has been operating in the Aegean Sea, as well as offering a unique itinerary around Cuba. Celestyal Cruises calls at most Greek ports, significantly outperforming other cruise companies in this regard, thereby introducing guests to Greece’s history, culture, breathtaking scenery and hospitality. The cruise company has been operating a Cuba cruise for about 3 years now, offering passengers an authentic Cuban cruise – the best you can see on the island in 8 days.
At the moment, the cruise company owns 5 liners, 2 of which sail to Greek ports and one sails to Cuba. The other two liners are currently chartered by Thomson Cruises.
In 2015, the Ministry of Development of Greek Tourism awarded Celestyal Cruises a gold award for themed events, a silver award for its contribution to the development of the national economy, and a bronze award for the presentation and promotion of local cuisine. The Celestyal logo awakens the sea, the sun and the wind. It reflects the company’s commitment to its Hellenic roots, as well as to supporting the economy and preserving the environment in each destination.
