Description — Nieuw Amsterdam
Nieuw Amsterdam 5* - a Vista-class liner, which is very similar to Eurodam, Noordam, Oosterdam, Westerdam, Zuiderdam. The ship received its name in honor of the Danish name for New York. The ship’s interior reflects all the grandeur and atmosphere of this city. Nieuw Amsterdam 5* was built in Italy, in Marghera, and equipped with the latest navigation and safety system.
As for the design styling, it can be confidently said that this ship will delight the eye of every traveler. In the center of the ship there is a three-deck Atrium, under whose dome sits a decorative Astrolabe, which can be used to get an idea of constellations, planets, world time, and time onboard the ship. In all crowded areas, paintings by contemporary talented artist Stefan Kardo are displayed. According to the creators, the interior design and the overall styling of the liner will reflect “the charm and history of New York,” because it was this city that previously bore the name New Amsterdam.
