The Noordam 5* liner was launched in 2006. It combines such technological innovations as a diesel-electric propulsion system for more economical fuel consumption, as well as the latest Azipod system, which makes the ship more maneuverable. The Noordam liner is a unique example of a blend of classic style and modern style.

On board the Noordam liner, you will see museum-quality paintings, for example, a painting depicting the city of Utrecht, painted in oil in 1842, as well as a collection of contemporary photographs of musicians Dizzy Gillespie and B.B. King.

One of the most expensive works of art on board the liner is a mosaic sideboard with columns in the Baroque style of the 17th century. The sideboard is inlaid with ebony wood panels and covered with precious stones. The Noordam liner is a unique example of a blend of classic style and modern style.
