Silver Whisper

This wonderful liner was built in 2000 and accommodates 382 passengers. Like all liners from the company, Silver Whisper stands out for its highest level of service and a high “passenger/space” ratio. The construction of this liner became a new step for the company-during the development of its infrastructure, all the latest achievements of the cruise industry and technological innovations were used.

The amazing atmosphere of warmth and friendliness from the service staff is felt right away as soon as a guest steps aboard: a welcome glass of champagne, genuine joy, and a desire to take into account all your wishes and preferences-this is the company’s philosophy, according to which all Silversea cruises are organized.

All cabins on the liner are as spacious as possible and thoughtfully designed for complete passenger comfort. 80% of the suites have a veranda. The cabin interiors are made of dark wood and decorated in color palettes of “autumn red,” “old gold,” and “moss green.” Many suite categories, in addition to the bathtub and shower, are also equipped with a jacuzzi.

Dining on board is second to none-true examples of “fine cuisine.” Guests are offered, upon request, a special vegetarian menu, as well as the “CruiseLite” menu-with low cholesterol, fat, and salt. The liner’s participation in the prestigious Relais & Chateaux program allows the invitation of world-famous chefs from legendary restaurants, who create simply fabulous culinary masterpieces.

At the La Terrazza restaurant, themed dinners take place: guests can choose one of 16 menu options, each consisting of 6 courses and representing one of the cuisines of the peoples of the world-from Asian to European. At the same time, the head chef works in tandem with the sommelier, and each dish is accompanied by a wonderful wine.

You won’t have to get bored on board. Musical concerts are held in the Panorama Lounge and The Bar-well-known professional musicians perform compositions from the 1930s and 1940s, songs from Broadway shows, popular music, as well as original theatrical productions and even puppet theater performances.

For the first time on Silver Whisper, The Viennese Lounge appeared-a theater decorated in a red-and-gold color scheme, where culinary shows take place, stories are told about notable sights of the ports the liner visits, as well as film screenings and theatrical performances.

The liner also has an internet center and two boutiques offering an exclusive selection of branded clothing, accessories, and jewelry.

In the upscale spa, guests can enjoy an exceptionally wide range of face and body procedures, including both traditional and exotic options-for example, an Indonesian facial spa treatment that uses extracts from fresh vegetables and fruits, an extra massage performed by two specialists simultaneously, a massage with hot volcanic stones and cocoa oil, and others.

In 2010, the liner was refurbished.
