Nautica

The ship was built in 2000 and became the third vessel in the Oceania Cruises fleet. In 2010, «Nautica» underwent a major refit. Thanks to this renovation, the company effectively created a new ship with its own unique warm and welcoming character. This character can be felt everywhere-from the especially caring way the staff treats guests, to the wonderful signature menu created by first-class chef Jacques Pépin, and of course in the interiors of the ship’s public spaces and staterooms, which seem to envelop everything in tenderness and kindness. Luxurious fabrics and exquisite furnishings were used in the creation of the ship’s interiors, along with the finest finishing materials, as well as decorative porcelain, silver, and crystal from the world’s most renowned companies.

Not by chance, during guest embarkation, a huge sign greets them: «Welcome home!». The ship’s captain and crew welcome guests aboard with incredible warmth and friendliness. However, this attitude is felt not only on the first day, but throughout all the days of the cruise. A special atmosphere is created by constant direct interaction with passengers by all members of the crew-starting with the captain and ending with the simple waiter. On board, there is no trace of the kind of pretentiousness often associated with «luxury» cruise companies, but the service and cuisine fully meet the standards of six-star boutique liners. This is the key distinguishing feature of Oceania Cruises ships: luxurious service at moderate prices, without unnecessary show.

On board «Nautica» there are four main restaurants with a diverse menu, several bars and lounges, including the pool bar on the open deck, as well as a large lounge with a wonderful view of the ocean, where the traditional afternoon tea is held.

There are also other main places on board, without which no cruise would be unthinkable-an excellent Mandara Spa, a well-equipped fitness center, and a selection of entertainment venues. Throughout the day, various interactive activities are organized on the ship with passengers-games, contests-so no one will have to be bored. At the same time, passengers also have places where they can be alone-for example, in the quiet, cozy library with a huge selection of books and comfortable armchairs. The ship also offers plenty of board games.

A trip on «Nautica» is a great opportunity not only to see new countries and cities, but also to learn a lot of new things-for example, how to play bridge or edit photographs… or even create wonderful embroidery! Throughout the cruise, the ship hosts a variety of educational courses and workshops to suit every taste.

Nautica is a cruise ship that is best suited, rather, for older passengers and middle-aged couples. There are no special programs or clubs for children and teenagers, and given that the itineraries are more educational than entertaining, young passengers are unlikely to feel comfortable.
