AROYA Cruises has launched a mobile app for booking and passenger services

AROYA Cruises has launched a new mobile app that allows passengers to search for and book cruises, complete online check-in, manage their journeys, and access some onboard services on the AROYA liner.

The app is available for iOS and Android devices. It complements the cruise company’s updated website and accompanies passengers at various stages of their trip: from choosing an itinerary to paying for additional services and checking onboard expenses.

What can you do in the AROYA Cruises app?

After installing the app, passengers can:

• search for and book AROYA cruises;

• view and manage existing bookings;

• complete digital check-in before boarding;

• use preparation checklists for the trip;

• view the cruise itinerary and program;

• explore the daily shore excursion schedule;

• reserve restaurants and other onboard venues;

• sign up for the SPA and wellness center;

• choose and book shore excursions;

• view special offers;

• track expenses via the passenger onboard account.

AROYA states that certain onboard features will remain available without purchasing a paid Wi-Fi package. This will allow passengers to use the daily program and some services via the ship’s internal network.

Online check-in and booking management

One of the most important features is digital check-in for a cruise. Passengers can enter the required information in advance and get ready for boarding without filling out part of the documents directly at the terminal.

You can also use the app to access booking information, itinerary details, ordered services, and scheduled activities.

For clients who purchased a cruise through a travel agency, the option to add a booking may depend on the accuracy of the booking number, the passenger’s last name, and the transfer of data by the agency or supplier.

In which languages is the app available?

In materials about the launch of AROYA Cruises, it emphasized support for English and Arabic. The app page on the Apple App Store additionally lists French, Spanish, Hindi, and Simplified Chinese.

There is currently no Ukrainian language among the available localizations. Therefore, Ukrainian passengers may need help with adding bookings, completing online check-in, and ordering services.

What features will appear later?

The company plans to continue the development of its digital platform. Among the stated future capabilities:

• in-board message exchange;

• navigation through the ship’s premises;

These features are announced for the next stages of the app’s development and may not be available right after installation.

The only digital AROYA system

The app is integrated with the booking system, CRM, and other operational platforms of AROYA Cruises. The company aims to unify the website, mobile devices, onboard kiosks, and digital screens into a single passenger service system.

This approach makes it possible to transfer some operations from the ship’s reception to a smartphone: registration, day planning, booking restaurants and excursions, as well as checking the onboard bill.

What should you do before a cruise on AROYA?

Passengers are recommended to install the app before arriving at the port and to check in advance whether the booking is displayed.

To add a trip, the following may be needed:

• the AROYA booking number;

• the passenger’s first and last name in Latin letters;

• departure date;

• passport details;

• the email address used during booking.

If the cruise was purchased via Cruise-Life.PRO, the booking details and required documents should be verified against the confirmation received from the manager.
