Splendour of the Seas

Splendour of the Seas 5* (Vision class) - the second cruise ship of a ship class known as the LIGHT LINER, built in France, and its interior design was created by Norwegian architect Njal R. Eide. An enormous number of glass surfaces with a total area of about a hectare (awnings, «light lanterns» and panoramic windows) provides an excellent view and lets you enjoy the scenery through thousands of windows, immersing you in the atmosphere and landscapes of historic cities, mountains and beaches.

Sunlit atriums, lifts clad in white marble, walls painted in warm colors, fountains, comfortable leather armchairs and contemporary art pieces delight the eye and create a unique intimate atmosphere on these elegant mid-sized liners.

This is a modern liner, very bright and dynamic, with lots of interesting things on board. As with other liners, there are spacious lobbies and promenades where you can stroll through a variety of branded shops, and just watch people, show yourself off; upscale restaurants with international cuisine and an exquisite wine list from different countries, 2 swimming pools (one of which has a sliding roof), a rock-climbing wall - it’s hard to list all the conveniences that Royal Caribbean guarantees its guests, but you have a wonderful opportunity to experience them firsthand.

In 2012, this liner was fully refurbished. Many new and interesting features were added: 124 new balcony cabins, new furniture, flat-screen TVs, the Concierge service, Concierge Club and the Diamond Lounge. New restaurants and cafes were also added, the Asian cuisine restaurant Izumi, a grill snack bar, A la carte menus in the new Viking Crown Lo lounge, and a stylish BRITTO art gallery by pop-art celebrity artist Romero Britto.

You can also note the mini-golf area with grass, trees, streams and 18 holes, occupying about 560 sq.m., a movie screen by the pool showing film premieres and sports events, the R-bar with a 1960s atmosphere and signature cocktails, Park Café , a sea-themed bar - Schooner Bar.
These ships were designed to sail on a wide variety of routes from Alaska to Hawaii, and while adults can enjoy relaxing sunny baths or visit the modern SPA and fitness center, children can spend their time in dedicated kids’ clubs.
