Africa

Africa is the second-largest continent after Eurasia. To the west, Africa is washed by the Atlantic Ocean; to the north, by the Mediterranean Sea; to the east and northeast, by the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea. Most of the terrain is occupied by the Sahara Desert. Africa itself is mostly flat, but Mount Kilimanjaro is also located in Africa. One of the longest rivers in the world flows through Africa – that is the Nile. Africa combines several climatic zones. In the northern and southern parts — subequatorial zones, where there is little rainfall and dry air. In the central part of Africa lies the equatorial zone, where it is very hot, the air is dry, and there is a lot of rainfall; overall, Africa is considered the hottest continent.

       Flora and fauna on this continent are very diverse. Different trees and animals that live in the forests attract tourists every year. The main influx of tourists is seen in the northern countries (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia), the southern (South Africa) and on the islands (Madagascar, Seychelles).
