Silversea cruise company has introduced a new section of its Voyage Collection 2028-2029 titled Let the World Surprise You. The program includes 103 cruises to 219 destinations in 56 countries.
The routes will run from September 2028 to May 2029. Early access for Venetian Society members opened on October 6, 2026, and general sales began on October 8.
The new program features 29 new ports for this collection in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and South America.
Mediterranean cruises on Silver Nova and Silver Dawn
Silversea has planned 17 Mediterranean cruises on the ships Silver Nova and Silver Dawn. They will run from October 2028 to March 2029 and will cover 53 itineraries in 12 countries.
The program includes the first calls for this collection to Brindisi and the “Empire” in Italy. Overnight stays are planned in the following ports:
Cádiz;
Funchal on the island of Madeira;
Fusina, serving Venice;
Genoa;
Istanbul;
Livorno;
Naples;
Valletta.
Some itineraries are linked to major cultural events. Silver Dawn will remain in Venice during the carnival, allowing passengers to attend evening events in the city.
Another cruise features a New Year’s celebration in Funchal. Passengers will be able to watch the Madeira New Year fireworks from the ship, after which the vessel will sail to Casablanca and Tangier.
Silver Dawn will also carry out three cruises with a stop in Alexandria. Excursions to the Giza pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum are planned for passengers.
New S.A.L.T. Gastronomy Cruises
The company is expanding the S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages program, within which itineraries are built around regional cuisine, seasonal produce, and gastronomic traditions.
Three Wine & Truffle cruises will sail through Italy and Spain on Silver Dawn from October to December. The program will include truffle hunting, visits to vineyards, tastings, and special chef-led events.
The routes will cover areas from Livorno, from where trips are organized to Tuscany, to Palamós near Catalan truffle regions.
Another four gourmet cruises of the Asian Markets will run between Singapore and Hong Kong on the Silver Muse. Passengers will be offered visits to markets with local experts, an introduction to Asian street food, and chef-led excursions.
38 cruises in the Caribbean and Central America
From November 2028 to March 2029, Silversea will operate 38 Caribbean and Central American cruises. Four ships will be deployed in the region:
Silver Ray;
Silver Nova;
Silver Spirit;
Silver Shadow.
The program includes 34 itineraries in 21 countries. Among the new ports is La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
The cruises will begin and end in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or San Juan. Silver Ray and Silver Spirit will run itineraries ranging from eight to twelve days, with visits to Saint Barthélemy, Antigua, Anguilla, or Saint Kitts.
On the island of Canouan in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Silversea will host a special Destination Experience. It will include a carnival welcome, performances by local artists, and a beach event with drinks, snacks, and live music.
75-day trip Grand South America 2029
One of the highlights of the collection will be the 75-day Grand South America 2029 cruise on Silver Nova.
The ship will depart from Fort Lauderdale on 13 January 2029 and return there on 29 March. The itinerary includes a full sailing around South America, passage through the Panama Canal, and scenic cruising near the Antarctic Peninsula.
Overnight stays are planned in:
Manaus;
Rio de Janeiro;
Buenos Aires;
Callao, from where excursions to Lima are organized;
Cartagena.
Passengers will also get access to three special events. These include a sunset reception in Gustavia on Saint Barthélemy, attending the Carnival in Rio with a reserved area at the Sambadrome, and a private event in Cartagena.
New Routes through Asia, Australia and New Zealand
Silver Moon will sail season in Australia and New Zealand. Ten cruises are scheduled from October 2028 to March 2029, with visits to 42 destinations in three countries.
The program includes new calls to Batemans Bay and Phillip Island, as well as a panoramic passage through Dusky Sound. One of the itineraries features an overnight stay in Sydney during New Year’s celebrations.
Silver Moon and Silver Muse will jointly run 26 Asian cruises from September 2028 to May 2029. The program will cover 62 destinations in 11 countries.
Among eight new ports:
Yosu;
Hitatinaka;
Miyako-jima;
Wigan;
Muara;
Sihanoukville;
Makassar;
Maizuru, from where you can travel to Kyoto.
Kobe and Bali will be used for the first time as ports of embarkation or disembarkation for individual cruises. Some sailings are timed to coincide with Japan’s cherry blossom season and the celebration of the Lunar New Year in Hong Kong.

The general sale of new cruises opened on October 8, 2026. Early booking is especially important for:
rare suite categories;
itineraries during Carnival and New Year holidays;
S.A.L.T. gastronomic cruises;
the long Grand South America 2029;
voyages with overnight calls at popular ports.
