Costa Fortuna is no longer part of the Costa Cruises fleet. After the completion of its most recent cruise, Costa on September 11, 2026, the ship was renamed Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber. The vessel has been transferred to Margaritaville at Sea and is undergoing refurbishment ahead of cruises departing from Miami in January 2027.
Costa Fortuna operated as part of Costa Cruises since 2003 and for more than two decades has been running cruises in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean region, and other destinations.
In September 2026, the liner completed its service with Costa Cruises. After being transferred to the new operator, the ship was renamed Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber.
Before entering service for Margaritaville at Sea, the liner undergoes a major modernization. The first commercial Beachcomber cruises are scheduled to depart from PortMiami in January 2027.

Description - Costa Fortuna
Stunning in every detail, Costa Fortuna is the successor to the luxurious Italian liners of the past. Extremely comfortable and elegant, the ship impresses, captivates, and entertains.
Costa Fortuna is a wonderful liner, capable of offering unforgettable cruise experiences. Aboard this liner, everything is literally dazzling, wonderful, and fun. The main atrium, in tribute to the company’s history, is decorated with 26 models of the most beautiful Costa liners. If you love entertainment, then at your service onboard are a casino, a disco, numerous bars and lounges, an excellent theatre, and the exclusive Club Conte Grande with a transparent roof that lets you enjoy the stars. You have 4 restaurants at your disposal, 3 of which are included in the price, and one alternative restaurant, Club Conte Grande, for which prior table reservation is required, 11 bars including the Cognac & Cigar Bar. There are also 4 pools, one of which has a retractable roof, 6 jacuzzis, a children’s pool, and a water slide.
For sports lovers, there is a sports court, a jogging track, and a fitness centre onboard. For SPA fans, there is a wellness area with a sauna, a Turkish bath, and treatment rooms. For children, a kids’ club and a video games room are available.

Program of daily activities carried out on board the liner is published in a special informational mini-brochure, delivered to your cabin in the evening the day before the next day. The on-board entertainment programs are varied and periodically change depending on the liner’s route and seasonality: karaoke, dance classes with trainers, special lectures on a variety of educational topics, sales of jewelry and merchandise, and much more.
Dining - Costa Fortuna
Meal service is included in the cruise fare with a rotating dinner schedule, meaning dinner is served in 2 seatings-at 19:00 and 21:15 respectively. There are a total of 4 restaurants on board:
2 main restaurants (included in the fare): Michaelangelo and Rafaello, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. They are located at the stern and in the center of the ship. Also, the buffet-restaurant Christoforo Columbus Restaurant Buffet operates on a “buffet” system.
Alternative restaurants (requiring additional table reservations - 25 euros per person): Club Conte Grande 1927 and Christoforo Columbus 1954.
There are 11 bars on board, including Cognac & Cigar Bar.
Important! The evening buffet operates until 17:30. The sandwich section operates from 17:00 to 18:00. Pizza at the buffet (for an additional fee of 4 euros) is available from 18:30 to 23:00. During the time when the buffet is closed, the beverage coolers and coffee machines in the buffet also do not operate.

Kids Clubs - Costa Fortuna
Professional animators work on Costa Cruises liners, organizing the activities of 4 different kids’ clubs for children of different ages. Participation in kids’ clubs is FREE OF CHARGE! Children must be registered in the club on the first day of the cruise.
Mini Club (from 3 to 6 years) and Maxi Club (from 7 to 11 years) have their own dedicated areas and their own pools on some ships. The clubs operate in the mornings, after lunch, and in the evenings. On request, the service “Parents on Excursions, Children in the Club” is available.
Teen Programs (from 12 to 14 years) and Youth (from 15 to 17 years) clubs help kids make new friends during their holidays.

For infants (from 6 months to 2 years), visits to the children’s room are allowed with mandatory adult supervision.
