Costa Toscana belongs to Costa Cruises and is part of the Excellence class. The ship was built at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland in 2021, and its first cruise began from Savona on 5 March 2022. The name, styling, and the names of public spaces are linked to Italian Tuscany; the design project was led by Adam D. Tikhani.
The ship uses liquefied natural gas, LNG, and shares a common project base with Costa Smeralda. Costa Toscana’s distinctive character is shaped by Tuscan themes, the multi-level Colosseo space, the open Piazza del Campo, and the panoramic walking area Volare. Standard amenities include air conditioning, a TV, a safe, a telephone, a hairdryer, storage space, and a private bathroom. In Costa Toscana’s standard cabins, a minibar is not provided; its availability is listed among the privileges of suites. The capacity of a specific cabin and the configuration of additional sleeping places should be checked before booking.
For Costa suite guests, the ship offers a butler service, priority boarding and disembarkation, a dedicated restaurant, and access to the VIP Deck 19 area. The list of privileges, spa visit conditions, and whether the drinks package is included are verified according to your fare. Check the exact port of embarkation on your ticket. On Mediterranean itineraries, different starting points for the journey are possible. For the departure from Civitavecchia, plan your route to the port separately.
Complete your registration in MyCosta. Check your documents, boarding form and luggage tags, follow the arrival time to the terminal stated in your cruise documents. Keep your documents and any necessary medicines in your carry-on baggage.
Download the Costa App before your trip. On board, the app works through the ship’s network without purchasing an internet package. It will help you find the events program, your restaurant, and check onboard expenses.
Plan specialized dinners separately. Check the availability of Archipelago, Teppanyaki, Food LAB and other venues you want to visit via MyCosta or onboard. For a party with multiple cabins, request that a shared dining arrangement be coordinated.
