It was on this very ship that the famous Carnival Seaside Theatre was first installed today-a huge 3.7-meter-tall and 6.7-meter-wide LED plasma panel. Today, such screens are installed on many Carnival Cruise Lines ships and are one of the main entertainments during the cruise, showing art films, cartoons, sports programs, and entertainment shows around the clock.
Even today, «Carnival Liberty» remains the largest ship in the cruise company’s fleet. On board, there are 22 bars and cafés. One of the ship’s main restaurants, besides the main dining room, has two separate rooms-Card Room and Game Room-which can be booked for groups or used by passengers as individual dining areas (by prior reservation).
Men will be thrilled by the unique-and possibly the biggest in the world-sports bar, the EA Sports Bar, where sports events are streamed around the clock on numerous plasma televisions-both on a recorded basis and live.
Kids will be happy too-there’s a separate special night club on board for teens, and the very youngest passengers are invited to visit Camp Carnival, the traditional kids’ camp offered on all Carnival Cruise Lines ships, where professional animators will keep children busy with board games, role-playing games, and a wide variety of creative activities. Meanwhile, adults can relax in the fitness center or retreat to the «Adults Only» Serenity area.
But the main events, of course, take place in the evening, when the ship hosts entertainment events and themed parties. Be sure to visit the Venetian Palace-a three-deck-high theatre, whose performances can probably compete with the very best Broadway shows.
