Santos (Port. Santos) - a port city and municipality in Brazil, part of the state of São Paulo, the main seaport gateway of São Paulo. It is part of the mesoregion of the São Paulo Metropolitan Area and the urban agglomeration of Baixada Santista.
Wonderful Brazilian port city of Santos, located in the Bay of Santos, with very fertile lands and beautiful nature, once attracted European settlers to the continent. The indigenous tribes that lived in this area did not resist the arrival of newcomers; they even helped with the settlement and the further development of the city.
Santos is known for its beautiful, rich and fertile area, where they grow one of the best coffee varieties - Bourbon, which has a refined sweet-bitter, slightly oily taste with a mild tanginess that is not found in ordinary Santos. The city is indented by small bays, but the length of the beach surrounding the city is impressive for its vastness.

CASA DE PEDRA HOUSE To find original residential houses, you shouldn’t look only in the elite neighborhoods of big megacities. A truly unique house is located in the slums of São Paulo. The house, called Casa de Pedra, was built by the most ordinary local gardener. A few years ago, the poor gardener didn’t have the means to build even the most modest house. He found a simple and affordable way out of a difficult situation-he built a home out of a variety of materials that happened to be at hand. |

Queimada Grande is a find for adrenaline lovers. Only a true thrill-seeker would dare to visit the most dangerous island on the planet. It earned its well-deserved first-place status due to the huge number of snakes that inhabit it. The area of this tiny island is only 0.43 sq km. One of the most dangerous snakes on the planet lives on its territory-the island pit viper (botrops). |
