Picton - a tiny town in the southern part of New Zealand’s North Island. The island’s area is 113,729 sq. km; it is the 2nd largest island (after South Island) in New Zealand and the 14th in the world. The North Island is covered with mountains to a much lesser extent than the South Island. However, the North Island has high volcanic activity.

In this place, among the small number of attractions, the “Edwin Fox” stands out - the ship of the first settlers. The entire ship is made of wood and has survived quite well to the present day.
