Description — Phu My, Vietnam
Phu My is a large Vietnamese port serving cargo transport and large cruise liners. In the town itself and its surroundings, you won’t find any interesting sights. Tourists arriving here on liners go on an excursion to Ho Chi Minh City or travel to the small town of Vung Tau, which is very charming, with excellent beaches. The largest and most popular beaches in Vung Tau are the Silk Beach, Front Beach, Back Beach, and the small rocky beach with the beautiful French name Roche Noire. In Vung Tau, you should visit the viewpoint with the Christ Statue, which is reached by a very picturesque, flower-lined road; visit the White Villa with its beautiful garden; go to the Lay Buddha Temple; and visit the amusement park, which can be reached by cable car.
