Seven Seas Mariner Deluxe

Seven Seas Mariner was the world’s first liner with all staterooms as suites, each featuring a balcony. In 2002, it was named “Liner of the Year” by Ocean and Cruise News. Despite two full-scale refurbishments - the ship underwent extensive updates in 2009 and 2013 - all interiors have remained in a retro style, creating a more intimate atmosphere onboard than on today’s vast mega ocean liners. The refurbishment added even more freshness, elegance, and luxury to Seven Seas Mariner, while preserving the warmth and charm that distinguish all Regent Seven Seas cruise ships.

All of the ship’s suites (except Concierge and Veranda categories) were redecorated, fitted with new furnishings, and had their lighting replaced. The main theater was modernized, featuring a new grand production with elements of aerial choreography to music by Michael Jackson, Pink, Queen, and other pop-music stars. In the Horizon Lounge and Mariner Lounge, charming bars and new furnishings have been added.

At the Canyon Ranch Spa, new steam rooms were installed, the changing rooms were updated, and the fitness center was equipped with the latest workout equipment. The poolside area, as well as other relaxation zones on the open decks, were furnished with modern beach-style furniture. The Pool Grill and La Veranda restaurants have become more appealing and cozy thanks to their new design and décor.

Service onboard is distinguished by special warmth: the staff is impeccably attentive to details and extremely friendly. Seven Seas Mariner is one of the few luxury-class cruise ships where families with children are truly welcome, and young passengers can experience the same pleasure and joy from the vacation as adult guests.

Onboard activities include a variety of entertaining and educational programs: computer classes, lectures by invited specialists and cruise company experts, as well as daily auctions of artworks and film screenings in Constellation Theater, the ship’s main show lounge. A wonderfully popular tradition is the afternoon tea in Horizon Lounge, a lounge with panoramic windows offering a beautiful view of the ocean. In many of the ship’s lounges and bars, music concerts featuring a wide range of performers and singers are held regularly.

Shore excursions onboard are exceptionally well organized. In addition to booking organized group tours, guests can obtain all necessary information, maps, and even video materials about the region at the onboard excursion bureau if they wish to take an individual trip.

On Seven Seas Mariner there are several cozy bars and cafés with a great selection of drinks and snacks and a calm atmosphere. One of the most interesting places is the Coffee Connection café, located next to the library. Like the library, the café is open 24 hours a day; during the night hours when there is no staff, guests can use the coffee machine and prepare their favorite drink themselves. At other times of day, travelers are offered not only high-quality coffee and tea, but also fragrant pastries and original desserts.

By the way, you can enjoy reading and a cup of coffee not only here, but also in the Garden Promenade - a bright and spacious gallery with panoramic windows. The gallery is also considered a popular spot for board games.

Onboard Seven Seas Mariner runs one of the most prestigious spa facilities - the Canyon Ranch Spa Club, offering a full range of cosmetic, cosmetology, and general toning services. Within the spa complex, there is also a sauna and a steam room.

All staterooms on the ship are equipped with everything needed so that every guest can enjoy comfort and a carefree vacation: large beds, a walk-in wardrobe, a marble-finished bathroom with “luxury-class” toiletries, a stocked mini-bar, a refrigerator, a plasma TV with 13 channels and an interactive system that allows guests to watch onboard lectures and presentations in recorded form, as well as documentary films about port calls and the shore excursions offered by the company.

Please note that in 2015 the company introduced a new unique service on its cruises: guests in Master, Grand, Mariner, Seven Seas, Horizon, Penthouse, and Concierge suites receive a complimentary internet package with a duration of up to 500 minutes.
