On 1 April 2012, Monarch joined the Pullmantur Cruises fleet. This ship was built in 1991 and belonged to Royal Caribbean. The Monarch liner belongs to the Sovereign class and was last renovated in 2018. Together with the Sovereign liner, they are the largest ships in the Pullmantur fleet.
There is plenty of entertainment on board: bars, relaxation areas, a library, the April and Paris lounges, where you can watch cabaret shows, a club. There are programs for children and they are quite good.
There is a main restaurant, located over 2 floors. As an alternative, you can go to the paid restaurant and choose your favorite dish. The wine list at the restaurants is modest, but the prices are reasonable. So you can absolutely afford to order a glass of wine (and not just one) with dinner.
The most important thing here is the atmosphere. Fun and relaxed. Thanks to the ship’s relatively small size, it offers some of the coziest corners of our planet.
