Crystal Symphony Deluxe

The cruise ship «Crystal Symphony» - one of two vessels owned by Crystal Cruises. Built in 1992, the ship has already undergone three major refurbishments. The first took place in 2006 and became the most expensive refurbishment in the history of the cruise industry, costing the company $23 million. The second was carried out in 2009 and cost $25 million. The third refurbishment was done very recently, in 2012. Many public areas on the ship were updated, adding extra shine; new lounges and cafes appeared. Both theaters on board also underwent significant changes: new seating was introduced, the space was expanded, the interior décor was refreshed, more room was added, and modern equipment was installed.

Crystal Symphony is one of the most spacious and luxurious cruise ships in the world. On board, there are numerous spacious and beautiful lounges and other areas designed for relaxation and entertainment: a full-service fitness center, an excellent casino, a luxurious spa, a pool with a large jacuzzi, an award-winning kitchen, and much more. According to many critics, the staff on board Crystal Symphony is one of the most professional and experienced among cruise companies in this segment.

The ship’s cabins are tastefully appointed and meet all modern standards of luxury-class cruise ships. More than half of the cabins have private verandas. Cabins on each deck feature their own color palette: on decks 5 and 9, the cabins are decorated in burgundy, terracotta, and yellow-brown tones; on deck 7-in colors of lavender, gold, and graphite; on deck 8-sea-wave blue, pearly, and gray.

On board the cruise ship, there is a wide choice of restaurants with superbly presented and original dishes: the main dining room, two alternative restaurants, a buffet, grill bars, and buffets. Everywhere, guests can enjoy a wide selection of meat, fish, vegetables, appetizers, and desserts, as well as an excellent wine list.

At the Galaxy Lounge and Hollywood Theatre, a vibrant and exciting show program takes place every evening. In the lounges and bars, well-known pop and classical artists perform with solo acts. In the nightclubs, dance parties and discos are held. By the way, for women traveling alone, Crystal Symphony offers a hostes-partners service.

The public areas on Crystal Symphony are spacious, quiet, and modern. The interiors are done in muted and pleasant tones and are conducive to restful downtime. Near the ship’s atrium, Crystal Plaza, there are high-end shops, as well as a wonderful library with a wide selection of the latest books and DVD discs. Bridge lovers will appreciate the large and cozy card room with plenty of tables and comfortable armchairs.

Crystal Symphony has a modern spa salon and a large fitness center with all the necessary equipment.

The ship’s kids’ play area includes two centers: Fantasia for children up to 12 years old and Waves for teenagers. Both centers offer a huge variety of entertaining and educational opportunities.
