Costa neoRomantica

After a major modernization in 2011–2012, it was renamed Costa neoRomantica.

In 2020, the vessel was sold to Celestyal Cruises and renamed Celestyal Experience. Due to the effects of the pandemic, the liner never began regular commercial operation for Celestyal.

In 2021, the vessel was sold again and for a short time was named Antares Experience.

In late 2021, the liner arrived in Gadani, Pakistan, for dismantling.

The result of an innovative project from 2012 completely changed the style of the Costa Romantica liner, which was renamed Costa neoRomantica - a true five-star resort! The Costa neoRomantica liner offers its guests the most picturesque Samsara Spa center in our entire fleet. Cozy facilities, soothing colors, and soft lighting will give you an incomparable feeling of relaxation. Pastel tones, subdued lighting, and precious finishing materials: everything here, down to the smallest details, is created for your complete relaxation and rest. Enjoy spacious areas of full comfort and large windows with scenic views of the interior spaces. As with all neo-collection liners, Costa neoRomatica has features that make a cruise on these ships truly special. First of all, the liners have special routes.

The relatively small size of the liners allows them to call at smaller ports. The duration of stops in these ports is increased: often the ship stays for 2 days in the most interesting ports, offering the opportunity to take excursions to places that tourists on other liners cannot reach due to a lack of time for such excursions. Excursions are organized in small groups, which makes visiting historical sites much more comfortable. Also, on all neo-collection liners, there is a special approach to food. You don’t need to choose a mealtime, since you can visit the restaurant at any time that is convenient for you. And the menu is formed considering port visits. Thus, guests of the liner can taste dishes from national cuisines. And all guests can take advantage of the concierge services.

Daily onboard program, which is held on the liner, is published in a special informational mini-brochure that is delivered to your cabin in the evening before the next day. The entertainment programs on board are diverse and periodically change depending on the liner’s route and seasonality: karaoke, dance classes with trainers, special lectures on various educational topics, jewelry and goods sales, and much more.

The cruise price includes meals on board under the «All inclusive» system with free choice of dishes during dinner. On board the neoCollection liners, a specially compiled menu created in collaboration with the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo. You can order a special diabetic and gluten-free menu.

On board there are 4 restaurants, including alternative restaurants Samsara and Club neoRomantica.

Even the youngest guests can enjoy a wide selection of drinks that can be enjoyed throughout the day. Some of the most popular non-alcoholic drinks, smoothies and delicious hot chocolate are perfect after a tournament or an afternoon snack.

Kids clubs - Costa neoRomantica

On Costa Cruises liners, professional entertainers organize the work of 4 different kids’ clubs for children of various ages. Participation in the kids’ clubs is FREE! Children must be registered for the club on the first day of the cruise.

Mini Club (from 3 to 6 years) and Maxi Club (from 7 to 11 years) have their own dedicated areas and their own pools on some ships. The clubs operate in the morning, after lunch, and in the evening. Upon request, the service “Parents on Excursions, Children in the Club” is available.

The programs of the Teen Club (from 12 to 14 years) and the Youth Club (from 15 to 17 years) help you find new friends during the school holidays.

The clubs run on a schedule daily from 9:00 to 12:00, from 15:00 to 18:00, and from 21:00 to 23:30.

For babies (from 6 months to 2 years), visits to the children’s room are allowed with mandatory adult supervision. Multi-deck liners are ideal for parents with babies and toddlers in strollers who can start a cruise from 6 months. The ships are equipped with spacious elevators and cabins, wide outdoor decks, free walking paths and corridors. Upon request, the following are available:
- baby cots and cradles, baby bathtubs, the possibility to prepare baby food in the cabin, high chairs in restaurants, bottle warmers, and the option to order the preparation of food for your child in the restaurant. Private nanny services can also be booked for an additional fee.
