Online Check-In Procedure for a Cruise Ship
To reduce the time spent checking in for a cruise ship at the port terminal, we recommend completing online pre-registration in advance by entering your information online. Select the name of the cruise line you’re traveling with below, and you’ll be directed to the cruise line’s pre-registration page. Online pre-registration can only be completed after you have received a booking number for each cabin as part of your reservation. The procedure is similar to checking in for a flight.
Check-in is not mandatory; you can also provide your information to the cruise line directly when boarding at the port.
Procedure and details for online check-in:
When booking a cruise, you’ll receive a personal booking number (Booking/Reservation number). On the cruise line’s website, enter this number along with the ship’s name, departure date, and the passenger’s last name. Sometimes you’ll need to create a personal account to complete online check-in so you can make any changes to your booking later.
Information required for check-in: mailing address and phone number, international passport details, hotel before or after the cruise (if arriving at the port one day or more before the cruise begins), an emergency contact and their contact information (preferably someone who speaks English), credit card information (if paying on board with a credit card), and for departures from U.S. ports, U.S. visa information is sometimes required.
After filling out all the fields in the online check-in form, you must print the confirmation and present it during boarding.
You must complete online check-in in advance, no later than four days before the cruise begins.
