MSC Lirica offers cruises in a traditional elegant setting, styled in Italian fashion. On board you’ll find a huge variety of entertainment! Here you can enjoy pools, countless bars and restaurants, a beauty salon, a casino, a theatre and even a mini-golf course!
In December 2013, MSC Cruises announced the renovation project for four LIRICA-class liners.
The program, designed for 2 years, will involve one of the largest shipbuilding companies in the world, FINCANTIERI. The project completion is planned for 2015. As a result, new entertainment complex facilities, children’s play areas for five age groups (including for children up to 3 years old), technological innovations, expanded areas of shops and the spa center will appear on the MSC Armonia, MSC Lirica, MSC Sinfonia and MSC Opera liners, and nearly 200 new cabins will be built on each liner (193 passenger cabins and 59 crew cabins).
Absolutely all cabins will be fully refurbished and redecorated; new beds and LCD televisions will be installed. In many areas of the liner, new carpet flooring will be laid, walls and ceilings will be repainted and redesigned, and the furniture will be replaced.
In addition, each liner will be equipped with a water Spray Park for children. More spacious shops will boast new interiors, and in the perfumery department there will be corners dedicated to leading world brands, including Dior, Lancome and Dolce & Gabbanа.
