Celebrity Eclipse - one of the top five largest cruise ships in the world in the «premium» class, it belongs to the Solstice class.
The cruise ship is new, innovative; inside there is an elegant, cozy and warm atmosphere, with pianos, fireplaces, expensive furnishings, works of art. Every corner is styled with a refined taste. According to the International Association of Interior Designers, cruise ships of this class are the pinnacle of style, «a benchmark to follow in cruise shipbuilding», and they are nothing like anything presented before.
On its upper deck there is the famous «The Lawn Club» («Club on the Lawn»). This real lawn, with dimensions exceeding 8 tennis courts, brings to life Celebrity Cruises’ concept «a slice of nature on board». Here, the atmosphere is like that of a country club: you can play golf or lounge and sunbathe on the grass while admiring the views beyond the ship’s side. A cozy patio, or «Italian courtyard», is part of this green area. There is also a colorful show featuring professional glassblowers from Corning «Hot Glass», where the masters will tell about the 3500-year history of glass and the secrets of this craft. Many of the cruise ship’s interiors are adorned with collectible works of colored glass.
90% of the cabins have an ocean view, and 85% are equipped with spacious verandas. Wireless Internet access anywhere on the ship. From the «AquaClass» cabins (AquaClass) there is unlimited access to the new relaxation area «AquaSpa» (AquaSpa Relaxation Room).
In the AquaSpa Spa Center, with beautiful pools, fountains, plants and excellent service, there is a feeling of being on this resort. Here, exclusive treatment methods and exotic procedures are offered. For example, Thai herbal massage and facial care Elemis Oxydermy, ion-, stone-, hydro-, aroma, thalassotherapy, mud baths, etc. Very popular is the acupuncture massage, which has become AquaSpa’s signature. Before and after the procedures, guests can relax in a cozy lounge overlooking the ocean or in the Persian Garden (Persian Garden), located within the Spa Center.
The dining is excellent, catering to every taste preference of travelers. In addition to the restaurants, there is a chic wine bar Cellar Masters, with an outstanding wine list and experienced sommeliers, and at the cocktail bar you can try drinks, listen to live music and jazz. One of the most popular places on the cruise ship is the Martini Bar, which offers more than 100 different kinds of fortified drinks and the same number of martini varieties; here they hold tastings of caviar and other delicacies and often arrange private parties. Having the Concierge service for organizing individual service on shore helps Celebrity Cruises passengers receive high-quality services during shore visits. The consultants of this service have deep knowledge of the ports of call on each itinerary. They will help you visit the most interesting places in the port city, to which it is very difficult to get; reserve a table for you at your preferred or unusual restaurant during the shore stop; and arrange tickets to the city’s most popular shows or events. Don’t forget to ask them about exclusive excursions that are worth doing at least once in a lifetime.
Late check out (late departure from the cruise ship): This service is provided for an additional fee (for adults / .50 for children aged 3-12 / free of charge for children under 3 years) and allows passengers on all European itineraries on the last day of the cruise to stay on board the cruise ship all day and disembark 90 minutes before its new departure, as well as to have the opportunity to use certain services: a free breakfast or lunch in Bistro on Five restaurants, non-alcoholic drinks in Café al Bacio, use of the pools, fitness and the spa center.
