Cruise ship Anthem of the Seas →

Anthem of the Seas is called the most revolutionary cruise cruise ship in the marine travel industry. Its name can be translated as «Hymn of the Seas» or «Praising / Festive Song of the Seas». Built on: 10 April 2016, when Anthem set sail for the first time, offering cruise voyages to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. This is a ship of the latest Quantum series, characterized by innovations in onboard technical equipment, revolutionary designs of the living spaces, the dining system, and an entertainment program. A total of $950 million was spent on its construction

Of the 2090 cabins designed to accommodate 4180 guests, 375 staterooms have virtual balconies-huge HD screens the size of an entire wall that display sea views from the outside in real time. An innovation is the availability of adjacent modular sections for large companies and cozy studio solo cabins for one person. (Modular elements are a modern technology for outfitting the ship: when fully ready, prefabricated modules produced at the factory and equipped with everything needed are delivered to the vessel, assembled, and connected to the supply systems). The cabin size range is from 15 to 152 m. sq. Balcony area-from 5 to 57 m. sq. 34 cabins are equipped for passengers with limited mobility.

For thrill-seekers, in addition to Royal's well-known features-an indoor rock climbing wall, a water surfing area, and a zip line-there are also a parachute jump simulator, Rip Cord by iFLY, and an observation capsule cabin, The North Sta, which lifts passengers to a height of more than 90 meters above the sea surface. In the indoor sports complex Sea Plex on deck 16, passengers will be amazed by a host of entertainment options and attractions, from rides in vehicles and roller skating to video games and workshops in a circus school. Another innovative spot on the cruise ship is also considered to be the Two 70 lounge-a place for round-the-clock rest and entertainment-as well as a huge pool with a cinema under a retractable roof.

A new approach to the onboard dining system is implemented in the Dynamic Dining program. Its innovation is four complimentary main restaurants featuring dishes from both classic and modern cuisines, with a flexible schedule for visits and online ordering. In addition, there are free Cafe Promenade, Devingly Decadence restaurants, Windjammer Marketplace, and The Cafe @ Two 70, operating on a «buffet» system, as well as the Seaplex Doghouse, where you can grab a bite with a hot dog. The cooking process in the Wonderland restaurant is based on ideas of «molecular gastronomy» or «molecular cuisine»-a modern scientific theory of processing food products.

Concern for safety and saving passengers' time has led to the presence onboard of super-fast Internet access, IPad registration, and RFID bracelets.
In short, on other cruise ships there is nothing like this yet. As stated on the
official website of Royal Caribbean International: «Anthem raises the bar for the cruise industry». This is a real Las Vegas at sea-a cruise for those who love an active, head-spinning kind of vacation.
