Freedom of the Seas 5* - the cruise cruise ship of the Freedom class was launched in 2006 and at the time was considered the largest ship in the world.
To date, Freedom of the Seas 5* is no longer the largest ship in the world; it has been outgrown by newer Oasis-class cruise ships. However, Freedom of the Seas 5* is not outdated-Royal Caribbean is constantly working on modernizing the ship. In 2015, after a renovation, new staterooms, a nightclub, and two paid restaurants appeared onboard.
Freedom of the Seas 5* is primarily focused on family vacations; great attention is paid to children-there is kids’ entertainment with cartoon characters, as well as children’s clubs designed for different age groups. There is also plenty to do for active family couples aged 30 to 50. Many families are repeat passengers on the ship; mainly these are tourists from North and South America, Canada, and Europe.
Total number of staterooms onboard:
On the ship, four types of cabins are available: interior cabins, ocean-view cabins, balcony cabins, and luxury-category cabins. In addition, family-type cabins are provided.
Total number of cabins - 1894, including 880 balcony cabins and 168 cabins with a view of the waterfront.
Standard cabins feature two beds placed together or separately, a bathroom with a shower, a phone, a TV, a hair dryer, a mini-bar, a safe, and air conditioning.
