Cruises from Vinnytsia

Vinnytsia is located in the central part of the country, a bit south of the traditional route through Lviv and closer to the Moldovan direction than most cities in central Ukraine. This gives residents a choice that people in more western or more eastern regions do not have: the standard route through Poland to Barcelona, Venice, Civitavecchia, Genoa, or Piraeus, where MSC, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Costa, and Celestyal passengers are waited for, or the southern option through Chisinau. The classic route involves traveling toward Lviv or another western transport hub, crossing the Polish border, and flying from one of the Polish airports. The Moldovan direction is shorter in ground distance, since Chisinau is closer from Vinnytsia than the western border, and from there direct flights to the needed European port open up. Which of the two options is more advantageous depends less on distance than on specific dates and available flight connections: there are fewer flights from Chisinau than from major Polish hubs, so on popular dates the usual Polish connection may turn out more advantageous. Before booking, it is worth comparing both directions by available flights for the needed week, rather than relying only on the distance to the border.
